About The Position

Provides assessments and therapy to youth in Clinch, Coffee, and Atkinson County via the mobile unit. Provides a broad range of social services to clients and their families. Participates in treatment team planning and performs crisis intervention. Assists in dealing with personal and social problems. Serves as a liaison for social services. Position is part of the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) grant awarded to Unison BH via the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Position is part of a 4-year grant.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
  • Master’s degree in a helping field and pursuing licensure.
  • One year case-management experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic impressions or criteria.
  • Knowledge of how client advocacy system operates.
  • Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic models and intervention as directly related to area of assignment.
  • Knowledge of crises intervention techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for experience with or knowledge of trauma informed, resilience-oriented care.

Responsibilities

  • Will work Monday-Thursday, 8 AM – 6 PM.
  • Friday 8 AM – 12PM
