About The Position

Hill Country Community Clinic (HCCC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician who is passionate about working with children and adolescents. This position is specifically designed for a clinician who desires to work exclusively or primarily (majority caseload) with youth populations (ages approximately 5–17). The clinician will provide outpatient mental health services within an integrated FQHC/CCBHC model, collaborating closely with medical providers and care teams. Both Licensed clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) and Associate/Registered clinicians (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) are encouraged to apply. Clinical supervision is provided for Associate-level clinicians in accordance with California Board requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, or related behavioral health field.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
  • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
  • Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
  • Demonstrated interest, training, or experience working with children and adolescents.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing therapy to youth in community mental health or school-based settings.
  • Training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based youth modalities.
  • Experience working in an FQHC or integrated care environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children and adolescents.
  • Maintain a majority youth-focused caseload.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based practices appropriate for youth (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, DBT skills, play therapy-informed approaches).
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and community partners.
  • Participate in integrated care coordination with primary care providers.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Meet productivity expectations established by the Behavioral Health Department.
  • Comply with Medi-Cal, HRSA, CCBHC, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in case consultation and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain active licensure or registration in good standing.
  • Participate in clinical supervision (Associates).
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
