About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Deputy Project Manager to join their BGS Strengthen Safety & Quality Program. This position will act as a deputy to the Director of BGS Safety & Quality Program, providing leadership support, strategic partnership, and decision-making assistance as needed. The role involves representing the program in meetings and working groups, leading and managing special projects and strategic initiatives, facilitating BGS Functional & CEO Safety and Quality Review meetings, partnering with stakeholders, developing and maintaining project plans, preparing briefing materials, monitoring program performance, and communicating program objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects
  • 5+ years of experience creating executive level presentations
  • 5+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
  • 5+ years of experience developing and reporting performance metrics
  • Experience working with teams across multiple geographic locations
  • Experience and/or the ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as deputy to the Director of BGS Safety & Quality Program, providing leadership support, strategic partnership, and decision-making assistance as needed.
  • Represent the program in meetings and working groups as delegated by the Director.
  • Lead and manage special projects and strategic initiatives tied to the Safety & Quality Program from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Facilitate the BGS Functional & CEO Safety and Quality Review meetings, including overseeing agenda development, meeting content, and action item follow-up.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units and functions to align priorities, track progress, remove barriers, and drive accountability.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action trackers.
  • Prepare briefing materials, executive summaries, scorecards, presentations, and status reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making through analysis of metrics and program outcomes.
  • Communicate program objectives, priorities, and expectations clearly across leadership teams and functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support alignment, execution, and continuous improvement.
