BeyondTrust Engineer (SME) - Top Secret
About The Position
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a BeyondTrust Engineer (SME) to support NTT Data on the long-running USAF EITaaS program. This role is 100% Onsite out of Chantilly, VA and requires an active Secret clearance (must be current and verifiable). This is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire role for a qualified candidate looking for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force. Role Overview: NTT DATA is expanding its Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability on the long-running USAF EITaaS program. We are seeking a BeyondTrust Subject Matter Expert to lead the architecture, implementation, and operational support of BeyondTrust Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access (PRA), and Password Safe in a classified Windows enterprise environment.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher)
- 10+ years of IT engineering experience (8-9 years considered for exceptional candidates)
- Bachelor's degree (or additional experience substitution)
- 2+ years hands-on experience engineering/implementing BeyondTrust Remote Support, PRA, and Password Safe
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and PKI/Certificate Services
- Advanced PowerShell scripting; Python strongly preferred
- Experience hardening systems to DISA STIGs and applying NIST 800-53 controls
Nice To Haves
- Prior CACI, USAF, or DoD enterprise experience
- ServiceNow and/or NICE CXOne integration experience
- Azure / AWS (especially GovCloud) familiarity
- Experience on classified networks
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority for BeyondTrust solutions
- Design and implement secure, scalable PAM architectures aligned with DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53
- Integrate BeyondTrust tools with Active Directory, Certificate Services, ServiceNow, and NICE CXOne
- Develop PowerShell and Python automation scripts for credential management and reporting
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
- Author detailed documentation, runbooks, and training materials
