About The Position

Supervises operation of all bars/lounges. Ensures standards of service are achieved and control procedures are maintained. Assists in the planning of department objectives and service standards. Maintains operating supply inventories to established levels. Coordinates training of all beverage line employees, excluding cocktail servers. Acts as a liaison with Labor Relations in handling union grievances. Completes staff scheduling and all facets of labor/payroll administration. Initiates methods/procedures to improve operational efficiency and department revenue. Ensures compliance with Board of Health and CCC regulations. Promotes positive public relations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree (may substitute additional experience for degree).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of appropriate experience including prior supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong managerial skills and knowledge of food service sanitation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous experience required in a multi-unit, high volume bar environment.
  • Positive, self-motivated individual with high energy level.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Extremely proficient in team building and employee relations skills.
  • Proven skills in beverage sales, marketing and bar promotions.
  • Previous Beverage experience in a multi-unit high volume bar environment.
  • PC knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook
