About The Position
Prairie Band Casino & Resort offers an attractive benefits package including medical (casino pays over 70% of premiums), Dental (casino pays 79% of premiums), and Vision. Provides fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Basic mathematic proficiency
- Know or is able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook and specific Beverage Department standards
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

- 6 months experience in customer service or related field
Responsibilities
- Takes drink orders, communicates with bartender, assists in the preparation of non-alcoholic drinks and presents drinks to guests
- Maintains clean and stocked workstation
- Handles money according to procedure
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- Must project professionalism, and a consistently friendly demeanor
- Appears in publicity photos
- Promotes casino events and programs
- Works closely with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar helpers, beverage supervisor, and casino supervisors
- Provides personalized service and uses guest name
- Resolves service problems according to guidelines
- Performs the duties of a Food Server, Cashier/Host, Coffee Bar Attendant or Bus Person as needed to include Banquet functions
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Other duties as assigned
