About The Position

The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering a high-quality service experience to our guests. This involves providing prompt and courteous beverage service in a defined and efficient manner. The Beverage Server is responsible for maintaining a secure and accurate bank at all times and ensuring a clean and safe workstation.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Attend department meetings.
  • Assist guests in selecting and recommending beverages, ensuring they are satisfied with their choices.
  • Serve beverages in accordance with established procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked beverage station, ensuring the area is organized and functional at all times.
  • Monitor and report any inventory shortages or issues to management promptly.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring guests are not over-served.
  • Collect payments and process transactions using the appropriate payment methods.
  • Check ID’s.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of casino promotions, events, and amenities to assist guests with information and recommendations as needed.
  • Continuously reinforce the casino's "responsible gaming" message to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Attend mandatory TIPS training and attain certification.
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted money; keep bank secure at all times.
  • Remove empty bottles, glasses, etc., from tables and in between machines.
  • Clearly communicate last call at designated closing time to guests.
  • Stay in section and be visible to customers-keep section neat and clean.
  • Know when and how to cut someone off in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
