About The Position

The Beverage Cart Lead is responsible for overseeing daily beverage cart operations across two golf courses while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This position provides leadership and support to Beverage Cart Attendants through hiring, training, scheduling, and daily operational guidance. The Lead ensures efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food & beverage or customer service experience required; leadership experience preferred.
  • TIPS Certification or ability to obtain and maintain, required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities.
  • Strong attention to sanitation and safety practices.
  • Ability to recognize issues and communicate effectively with management.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, including ability to consistently handle monetary transactions and end-of-day deposits.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily beverage cart operations for two golf courses.
  • Hires, trains, and supports Beverage Cart Attendants.
  • Creates and manages staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
  • Monitors, maintains, and orders inventory as needed.
  • Ensures all operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
  • Ensures all team members adhere to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Greets guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
  • Issues receipts, refunds, credit, or change due to customers accurately.
  • Maintain and reconciles cash drop boxes and sales at the end of each shift.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
  • Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to management.
  • Address and communicates operational or guest service concerns in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
