Join our team as the Bereavement Coordinator. In this role you provide direct service to clients & families as well as coordinator of Bereavement Services within the agency. As a member of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to lead a meaningful bereavement services program that supports patients, families, and the wider community through compassionate counseling and outreach. The position is responsible for overseeing program development, volunteer and staff coordination, and ensuring compliance with hospice standards and quality initiatives. We’re seeking a self driven professional who is both empathetic and strategic—able to guide care delivery, strengthen community connections, and uphold the mission and philosophy of hospice care in both individual and group settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work or a related field required.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in the areas of life-threatening and chronic illness, grief, and loss, individual, family and group therapy. Minimum of three-five years related clinical experience in varied multi-disciplinary settings.
  • Valid state driver’s license. Ability to successfully pass pre-employment driver record, criminal, adult, and child abuse background, and Office of Inspector General (OIG) check/review. Must show proof of auto insurance at time of employment.
