The BCP Lead is a strategic leader responsible for cultivating and managing carrier and vendor partnerships to ensure the delivery of client-elected coverages. This role is a key influencer and decision-maker who is pivotal in driving innovation, solving complex challenges, and advancing Businessolver’s mission and vision through scalable, value-added partnerships for clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree required; Master’s preferred. Focus in Business, Project Management, Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years in client and partner management, enterprise integrations, or strategic relationship roles within HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, carrier systems, or brokerage.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong ownership of projects with demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; adept at stakeholder engagement and meeting facilitation.
  • Skilled in leading through change, managing ambiguity, and driving stakeholder engagement.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Effective collaboration across technical, sales, and executive teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Salesforce, and familiar with XML, EDI, and data mapping tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives to ensure seamless delivery of client-elected benefits coverages.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with carriers and vendors to optimize service delivery and partnership value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and solutions that enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve complex client and vendor challenges with agility and strategic foresight.
  • Represent Businessolver’s values and vision in all client and partner interactions.

  • Develop and maintain trusted strategic partnerships with carriers, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Act as a key influencer and change agent, empowered to make decisions that enhance value for partners and clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technology to inform strategic integrations and innovations.
  • Lead recurring meetings and project sessions with partners, clients, and internal teams; own agendas, facilitate discussions, and ensure documentation.
  • Resolve client escalations related to partner services in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align partner and client engagement strategies with organizational goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support placement and renewal of Voluntary Benefits coverage for Agency clients.
  • Facilitate quarterly stewardship meetings to review plan performance and engagement.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries and partner coordination.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Provide executive-level guidance to partners on service models and integration standards.
  • Review partner performance using scorecards, KPIs, and ROI data; lead improvement discussions.
  • Analyze operational trends and provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams on partner services, pricing, and integrations.
  • Facilitate training sessions for sales consultants, strategic advisors, and client services.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports, fostering professional growth.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Uphold organizational policies and maintain the highest ethical standard.
