As a Benefits Consultant within PNC's HR Operations organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Denver, CO. Job Description Provides supervision for research and analysis, clerical tasks, the implementation of benefits programs and policies, and other activities associated with the organization's employee benefits. May coordinate the analysis and implementation of the enterprise's wellness & work-life programs. Supervising benefits analysis activities including the research, analysis, evaluation, and administration of corporate benefits plans and programs. May organize the execution of the enterprise's wellness and work-life programs and activities. Ensuring all benefits programs and activities comply with related federal and state rules and regulations, e.g. Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Assisting in the design and implementation of corporate benefits programs, policies, and procedures, may also assist with the design and implementation of the organization's wellness and work life programs, policies, and procedures. Working with appointed vendors for outsourced benefits programs to ensure employees questions and issues are properly resolved. Requirements

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office-Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of administrative matters relating to Non-Qualified plan administration including Deferred Compensation and Supplemental Pensions.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Administers Non-Qualified plans: including day to day administration and activities such as processing payments in Payroll and Accounts Payable, biweekly deferrals, and reconciling trusts.
  • Works directly with our recordkeeper on all Non-Qualified plan matters.
  • Runs the annual Non-Qualified enrollment.
  • Runs monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to internal partners.
  • Partners with our payroll teams to ensure proper taxation and tax reporting.
  • Provides ad-hoc reports for different departments and managers on an as-needed basis.
  • Answers participants Non-Qualified questions, investigating and resolving any issues regarding deferrals or payments.
  • Administers BOLI and Split Dollar insurance plans.
  • Administers different Executive Benefit plans.
  • Assists with special projects as needed.
