About The Position

This role is crucial in supporting leave escalations and implementing projects focused on enhancing the employee experience while optimizing existing leave programs and associated benefits. The manager will drive process automation, technology implementation, and systems integration. Additionally, they will enable operations teams and conduct vendor reviews, leveraging an AI-first approach in benefits administration to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Benefits or Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of global statutory leave/benefit requirements and related regulations (EEOC, ADA, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships in leave, disability, and accommodations.
  • Proficiency in process design and HRIS (Workday) software.
  • Adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze administration processes in partnership with People Services and Payroll teams to implement enhancements.
  • Evaluate technology solutions in the leave administration process and address improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with vendors on leave program operations to identify efficiencies and SLA changes.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency in leave administration processes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Serve as an escalation point for leave management issues, liaising with HR leadership and vendors.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive employee data and communications.
  • Track key metrics related to leaves, trends, and escalations.
