Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Advocate to join a growing team. As a Benefits Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting the clients by coordinating employee benefits, answering inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication with insurance carriers. Requirements

1-2 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, healthcare, or human resources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Life & Health (L&H) license preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one (training and reimbursement provided).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Must be comfortable working in a dog-friendly, family-oriented office environment.
Willingness to collaborate with a team of Benefits Advocates and shadow seasoned team members during the training period.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing questions about coverage, billing, and eligibility.
Process enrollments, terminations, and benefit changes accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to resolve client issues and ensure smooth operations.
Answer phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Update policies and manage claims as needed.
Assist during renewal seasons by preparing documents and supporting the team.
Maintain a small book of business, coordinating employee benefit packets and assisting clients with their personal benefits.
