About The Position

Role description... Support members with compassion and expertise by guiding them through their employer benefits and time‑off plans during inbound calls, emails, and secure messages. Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to create a holistic approach that transitions well throughout our product line offerings. Provide clear, comprehensive education on employer benefits—including healthcare, financial protection, leave programs, tax‑saving plans, supplemental benefits, and state leave policies—ensuring each member feels confident and supported. Deliver low pressure benefits guidance that reduces stress, helps members focus on what matters most, and provides meaningful, in‑the‑moment support during their family‑building journey. Empower members with actionable next steps by offering accurate, personalized benefits of education rooted in a strong understanding of employer leave and state leave coordination.

Requirements

  • You bring a strong understanding of core employer benefit plans—including healthcare, adoption reimbursement, supplemental benefits, emotional/work‑life support resources, and time‑off programs.
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills, helping you navigate sensitive situations with professionalism
  • The ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and exercise good judgment
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts (specific times to be determined)
  • Please note: This is not a digital nomad or remote international position; candidates must be based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification preferred, such as CEBS, GBA, or SHRM
  • Knowledge of the fertility industry (a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted connections with members by educating them on their employer benefits and helping them make informed, confident decisions.
  • Onboard members seamlessly by capturing demographics, verifying eligibility, and using Progyny’s knowledge‑based tools to explain their benefits clearly.
  • Increase awareness and use of Progyny’s product lines to ensure members receive the fullest support through life’s biggest moments.
  • Deliver concierge‑level service across all communication channels—phone, email, and secure messaging—to connect members with the resources they need.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance the member experience, create valuable content, and help shape a program that turns users into enthusiastic Superfans.
  • Provide proactive, easy‑to‑follow instructions to help members enroll in, adjust, or apply for employer‑sponsored benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to build better business processes, internal controls, and advocacy for the program.
  • Build relationships with internal teams to resolve member concerns and address escalations with care and professionalism.
  • Grow continuously by engaging with internal learning opportunities and applying new skills to strengthen the member experience.
