About The Position

The Benefits Administrator plays a critical role within IVX Health’s People Operations team, supporting accurate, compliant, and employee-focused benefits administration. This position owns day-to-day benefits operations, employee support, HRIS data integrity, and coordination with vendors and internal partners. The Benefits Administrator serves as a trusted resource for employees regarding benefits, leave programs, and related policies while supporting open enrollment, compliance activities, and continuous process improvement. This role directly contributes to employee satisfaction, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across a growing, multi-state organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience administering employee benefits, including 401(k) plans
  • Experience working with benefit vendors, carriers, or brokers
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paycom strongly preferred) and benefits platforms
  • Experience supporting a multi-state workforce; self-funded plan experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume data environments
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathetic, employee-centered approach to support and problem-solving
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Payroll, Finance, and HR teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data audits and reporting
  • Experience with payroll systems, benefits platforms, and HRIS workflows
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and ADA regulations
  • Comfortable troubleshooting system issues and recommending process improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare or multi-site services organization
  • Familiarity with Paycom payroll and benefits modules
  • Experience supporting audits (401(k), workers’ compensation, ACA)
  • Exposure to benefits renewals, vendor reviews, and employee education initiatives
  • Professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain benefits data within the HRIS, including eligibility tracking, deductions, and life event processing
  • Support annual open enrollment through system setup, employee communications, and data audits
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors, brokers, and carriers to resolve eligibility, billing, and employee inquiries
  • Support workers’ compensation administration, including claim intake, reporting, carrier communication, and documentation
  • Assist with administration of FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave programs in partnership with HR Business Partners
  • Coordinate with the 401(k) plan administrator on enrollments, payroll feeds, loans, and demographic updates
  • Support COBRA administration, ACA reporting, and required ERISA documentation
  • Maintain accurate records related to leaves, benefits continuation, and retirement plans
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, pay, and time away from work
  • Provide education and guidance during onboarding, open enrollment, and benefit changes
  • Maintain clear internal documentation and deliver consistent, professional employee-facing support
  • Assist with benefits-related compliance activities, audits, and reporting requirements
  • Monitor benefit processes for accuracy and consistency, escalating issues as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and HR teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting
