About The Position

We are currently seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits Insurance team. You will be responsible for serving Benefits clients (small groups of 2-99), including both client companies and their employees. Working within a service team of Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and others, along with consultants/sales producers, the Benefits Account Manager plays a key role in delivering a client experience that achieves the quality and service standards developed by the agency. This position is in downtown San Antonio, TX. After an onboarding period, a hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) schedule is available.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of employee benefits experience, to include group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products.
  • Well versed in customer service, with excellent verbal and written communications
  • Proficient in computer software applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe.
  • This position requires a Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license, to be obtained within sixty days of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with self-funded plan a plus.
  • Experience with BenefitPoint ImageRight is helpful.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Leading pre-renewal, renewal and enrollment processes
  • Serving as a resource to clients on daily service needs, current market conditions and regulatory changes
