About The Position

Bell Staff are responsible for greeting all guests and visitors upon their arrival. They are accountable for showing guests to and from their rooms, familiarizing them with the property’s amenities, and providing them with directions and local attraction information.

Requirements

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
Weekend availability
Ability to lift and carry luggage and stand for extended periods
Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
Teamwork and collaboration
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors

Familiarity with the local area and attractions preferred

Responsibilities

Greets guests in a friendly, helpful manner
Offers to carry luggage to and from guest rooms
Assists with crowd control during peak times, such as check-in and check-out
Assists guests with moving rooms when necessary
Escorts potential guests to rooms for viewing purposes and shows the property
Directs traffic in the parking lot area and keeps the traffic lanes open
Opens doors and assists guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
Cleans and maintains the upkeep of the bell carts
Provide guests with information about hotel policies, amenities, and services
Assists the pool attendants with keeping the pool decks clean and organized
Assists the grounds department with cleanliness of the property while walking the grounds
Assists the front desk by answering phone calls and providing service to guests at the front desk
Other duties as assigned
