About The Position

The Bellstaff team plays one of the most dynamic and guest-facing roles at Big Sky Resort. As a Bell Porter, you are responsible for assisting guests with luggage, valet parking, and providing complimentary transportation using resort vehicles—all while creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable first and last impression.
Positioned at the entrances to our hotels, Bellstaff are among the first people guests meet upon arrival and the last they see upon departure. Professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuinely friendly attitude are key to success in this role. Shifts are split between the Huntley/Shoshone Lodge and the Summit Hotel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire 8-hour shift
• Capable of lifting over 50 pounds unassisted and pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds
• Previous experience in guest service, resort, or hotel operations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with unloading luggage, loading bell carts, and escorting them to their rooms
• Manage guest vehicle valet and traffic flow in loading and unloading zones
• Provide safe and courteous guest transportation in resort vehicles
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of resort vehicles, bell closets, and hotel lobbies
• Deliver quick and efficient service, while upholding the appearance and standards of the department
