About The Position
Represent The Salvation Army at the Red Kettle Stand and ring the bell at assigned locations as scheduled. This is a seasonal position with a varying workweek expectation of up to 40 hours per week and this position is without benefits. Wage: Up to $11.00/hour, up to 40 hours a week as a temporary position Christmas positions are temporary, up to 90 days, and are not entitled to benefits. Hours of work may vary and are not guaranteed. All Christmas positions have expectations that must be met in order to qualify for work assignments and ongoing temporary employment. This includes expectations in donations received. The Salvation Army, as a church, is exempt from participation in federal and state unemployment insurance programs. Upon termination, employees are not eligible for Unemployment Compensation. The Salvation Army work sites are Drug & Alcohol Free Workplaces, and are totally free of the use, possession or working under the influence of the illegal drugs and alcohol.

- Must be trustworthy and able to work independently.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of position.
- Must be willing to support the mission of The Salvation Army.
