Assist incoming and outgoing guests in entering/exiting the hotel and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms. Operate Shuttle in a safe and responsible manner on a scheduled route to all designated destinations. Job Description Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include: Key Job Functions Promptly and safely transport luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag, and store luggage at the guest’s request. Deliver guest room packages and room drops as needed in a timely and professional manner. Serve as a Hotel Bell/Luggage Attendant when scheduled, giving a warm welcome and departure for all guests. Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities. Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests. Perform other duties as assigned, which may include but are not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guests and securing it for pick up by the dry cleaning company, delivering clean laundry or guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms, and responding to other special requests. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. May regularly inspect and clear the hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris. Abide by all traffic laws, regulations, and company policy at all times. Perform daily inspection of the shuttle to ensure cleanliness and good working order. Deliver superior service to guests at all times. Report damage to the shuttle to the supervisor immediately. Complete the incident report with the Property Manager. Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of the shuttle. Maintain mileage and maintenance records as required. Maintain fuel and fluid levels at all times. Promptly report all maintenance issues to the Property Manager. Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, as necessary, ensuring safe transport. Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers.
