About The Position

- The Behavioral Tech II at LifeStream Behavioral Center is responsible for providing direct support and care to clients with behavioral health needs. This role involves assisting in the implementation of therapeutic activities, monitoring client progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges or developmental disabilities.
  • Previous experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Monitor and document client behavior and progress, providing feedback to the clinical team.
  • Facilitate therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by clinical staff.
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Support clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and interventions.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to support client goals and treatment plans.
