About The Position
Responsible for providing direct patient care and managing milieu activities to ensure patient safety. This position follows the multidisciplinary treatment plan to deliver care to assigned patients. This role collaborates with the Treatment Team to coordinate daily assignments and patient care. In addition, this position assists with programming, crisis intervention, and community calls. Works to ensure effective care delivery.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equiv Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Observes patients to detect behavior patterns and report observations and concerns to the registered nurse or behavioral health clinician.
- Implements patient-centered care and trauma-informed care.
- Creates and supports a therapeutic environment for safe treatment implementation.
- Performs observation rounds on assigned patients, documenting in real time, in order to detect behavior patterns.
