About The Position
View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Practical Instructor 2 (EDT011) or position equivalent.
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Practical Instructor 2 (EDT011) or position equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- At least six months of experience in a related field
- Experience working with adults in an inpatient facility.
- Experience and/or knowledge of DBT is preferred.
- Experience of at least one year working with Dual Diagnosed (Substance Abuse/Mental Health) and or residential setting
- Interventions, Diagnosing, Treatment Plans
- Experience with Care Logic or other EMR
- Comfortable and proficient with collaborative & concurrent documentation.
- Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills
