The Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Program Manager oversees operations of the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) project. Provides direct supervision to BHWET trainees as part of the practicum seminar. Leads the curriculum development committee. Conducts simulation experiences with trainees in the simulation lab. Partners with institutions to create recruitment pipelines. Develops targeted outreach materials for recruiting clinical supervisors. Monitors progress and ensures quality placement experiences within the experiential training sites. This position is essential for the successful execution of the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) program funded by the Health Services Resources Administration (HRSA). The program's core purpose is to increase the number of clinical social workers specializing in behavioral healthcare to serve children, adolescents, and/or young adults. Coordinates and implements the five primary goals of the BHWET project: community partnership development and management; curriculum development and implementation; trainee recruitment, selection, and support; trainee supervision and practicum coordination; and supervisor training and development. Functions as the central operational leader for the grant's core activities, monitors progress, and ensures quality placement experiences within the experiential training sites.
