This position is responsible for: The Education and Workforce Program Coordinator work with the Director by coordinating, overseeing, and implementing the designed Education and Workforce program. Supervises and monitors the day-today activities of the Education and Workforce Development Center programming and ensures that operations run smoothly and in compliance with established procedures. Promotes awareness and support for the workforce development program, attends community meetings and performs public speaking and represents The Salvation Army in a positive and professional manner. In coordination with the Director, implements and enforces program policies and procedures; prepares and updates procedure manual. Plans, coordinates, and/or facilitate classes to assist clients in obtaining skills that will enable them to implement the training received in the program. Interviews, accepts, and provides comprehensive, long-term, structured, complex, case management services for an assigned caseload of clients participating in the Education and Workforce program. Understands the uniqueness of the client's history in order to determine most effective program plans.
