About The Position

Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Schedule: PRN Night Shift About us Highpoint Health Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care. How you'll contribute As a Patient Care Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier . This includes: Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions Observing and recording patient behavior and activities Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans Conducting individual and group psycho-education, leisure activities, and life-skill training for all patients Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Handle with Care (HWC) required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • State of TN CNA license preferred
  • Behavioral Health experience preferred
