This position is at Pyramid Healthcare's Traditions House. This location is a men's halfway house located in Altoona, Pa. Shift: 2nd (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) Summary An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
  • Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately
  • A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards.
  • Upholding staff code of ethics and therapeutic boundaries

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete the intake process with new clients into program
  • Maintains client documentation
  • Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable
  • Coordination of client activities
  • Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
  • Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
  • Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
  • Assists with the dietary needs of clients
  • Completes all required trainings
  • Other duties as assigned
