About The Position

Their programs span detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services, having transformed thousands of lives. Avenues Recovery Center is currently seeking to hire Behavioral Health Technicians for their newest facility in Baton Rouge, LA.

Requirements

If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
