The company is now hiring a Residential Manager/Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor for its new location opening in Norfolk, VA. This role involves providing day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, engaging and building rapport with clients to create a warm, accepting recovery environment, monitoring clients and enforcing policies for safety, recording and escalating critical communications/incidents, fulfilling administrative duties, and overseeing and providing training and support to all BHTs on your shift. The work will be performed at Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick, a 93-bed residential facility offering drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. This newly remodeled, fresh, and inviting building brings all services under one roof, providing clients with a five-star experience as they begin their recovery. The medical and clinical team are on call 24/7, and the atmosphere is one of acceptance, hope, and healing.

Requirements

• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
• Dignified character that models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
• Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
• Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support
