Join our team at Centerstone as a Behavioral Health Technician I! In this role, you’ll provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients in residential and withdrawal management settings. You’ll help monitor health indicators, facilitate structured activities, respond to crises, and support medication administration—all while fostering a safe, therapeutic environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment
- Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents
- Basic math and keyboarding skills
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with clients
Responsibilities
- Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients
- Monitor vital signs and escalate when necessary
- Oversee and document medication administration
- Monitor OTC medications and maintain inventory
- Document blood glucose levels and maintain equipment
- Conduct supervision checks per safety plans and procedures
- Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing) when necessary
