The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Behavioral Health Technician is a member of a multi-disciplinary care team who facilitates skill development and serves as direct care in the milieu for the customer-owners in a program. This person facilitates and supports customer-owner care that is highly interactive and participatory where customer-owners have the opportunity to build, share, and express knowledge through open dialogue around issues or problems with a focus on the customer-owner's outcomes. This person is responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive treatment environment. This person may provide supervision of the customer-owner to meet State of Alaska Licensing regulations. This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
