The Behavioral Health Technician II delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of basic services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, The Behavioral Health Tech II will have an important role in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care that complies with hospital policies and the State Board of Nursing rules for unlicensed personnel. Requirements

CNA preferred
Bachelors Degree or 10 years of general healthcare / mental healthcare experience required
Demonstrated competency in BLS required upon hire and maintained

Nice To Haves

Prefer one year of inpatient psychiatric experience
Medical Terminology and clerical background preferred

Responsibilities

You will provide care to and close supervision of our psychiatric patients
You will obtain and record initial and ongoing patient vital signs throughout the cycle of care
You will document and report any physical or behavioral changes at time of occurrence
You will actively participate as part of the treatment team, following facility policies and procedures
