Non-Exempt Job Summary: Provides a combination of duties related to both driving and tech for the intensive outpatient program. The individual’s primary duties are associated with the transportation of the IOP patients to and from home and the program. The individual’s secondary duties are to support the IOP therapist in monitoring and managing patients’ behaviors IOP groups. Individual will support in crisis situations to implement de-escalation techniques and ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients. Individual will also escort patients to and from group rooms, restroom, and lobby. Core Competencies: Demonstrate ability to work with multi-disciplinary adult recovery teams. Knowledge of New Mexico behavioral health systems. Good written and communication skills. Uses good judgment as it relates to client care. Knowledge of confidentiality, ethics and boundary issues.
