Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW), LLC is an evidence-based, client-centered behavioral health organization offering PHP, Day and Evening IOP, Residential Treatment, and specialized inpatient services. We provide care across multiple levels of need in a warm, welcoming environment that meets clients where they are and empowers them to “be the great person they were always meant to be.” As part of our continued growth and commitment to expanding access to specialized care, SLOW is opening S.L.O.W. Academy—an 8-bed inpatient treatment center dedicated to individuals struggling with eating disorders. This program will deliver highly structured, multidisciplinary care focused on both medical stabilization and long-term recovery. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a vital member of the treatment team and works under the supervision of the Director of Housing and Transportation. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, care, and well-being of clients, maintaining a supportive therapeutic environment, and accurately documenting client behaviors and progress. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mental health and want to grow within the field while making a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.
