We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our care team and play a hands-on role in supporting patients receiving treatment for mental health and substance use challenges. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, supportive by nature, and driven to foster a safe, structured, and healing environment. EVENINGS - Sunday through Thursday (2:45pm through 11:15pm) What You'll Do: Monitor patient behavior, provide emotional support, and document observations accurately. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, daily routines, and facility orientation. Help patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, chores, and recreation. Ensure a safe environment through room checks, safety rounds, and de-escalation when needed. Participate in or lead structured group activities and therapeutic programming. Communicate clearly with patients and team members to support individualized care plans. Accompany patients to appointments or community-based activities as needed. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical boundaries at all times. What You Bring: High school diploma or GED (required) At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, residential, or related care settings (preferred) A valid driver's license Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situations Strong observation and communication skills Familiarity with trauma-informed care and nonviolent de-escalation techniques Willingness to work as part of a collaborative care team Comfortable with light documentation and the use of electronic health records (EHR) You're a Great Fit If You: Have a passion for supporting people during their most vulnerable moments Are dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in your work Believe in maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and therapeutic environment Can uphold professional boundaries while showing genuine compassion Thrive in a team-oriented setting and value open communication Why Join Us?
