As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and guide patients through life -changing clinical pathways. Your role will be pivotal in addressing mental illness, addiction, and behavioral health crises across diverse populations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with diverse mental health populations.
• Skilled in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy.
• Background in crisis management and behavioral interventions.
• Strong foundation in evidence -based practices and psychosocial care.
• Proficient in crisis response and emergency decision -making.
• Effective communicator with strong counseling and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of community -based mental health resources and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver outpatient therapy services to adults and/or children.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization when needed.
• Collaborate with care teams, including physicians, case managers, and social workers.
• Build partnerships with community organizations to strengthen patient support systems.
• Refer and connect patients to appropriate public and mental health resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment notes, and discharge plans.
• Track patient progress through ongoing assessments and adapt interventions accordingly.
• Prepare case summaries and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
