The Children’s Behavioral Health Bureau (BHB), located withing the Child and Family Service Division (CFSD), at the Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist (Case Manager/Bilingual). The Bureau is responsible for providing comprehensive, trauma informed, culturally responsive mental health and substance use services to help youth, with the support of their parents, thrive in their environments. Services for youth are provided in their homes, school, community and the DHS office. This position will provide case management and high-fidelity wraparound, intensive care coordination, for youth with complex behavioral health challenges. The Case Manager is part of a multidisciplinary team which may include therapists, psychiatric providers, and professionals from the schools, courts, child welfare, etc. The Case Manager should have experience working with multi system involved youth, knowledge of Arlington County community resources, experience with mental health and substance use services and case management for youth.
