Apply today. Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC) in West Phoenix is an American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognized 317 bed facility in Southwest Phoenix. The 73 bed Emergency Department (ED) provides care to pediatric and adult patients. With a focus on patient experience, we are committed to providing safe and compassionate care to our patients. The annual volume of the ED is nearly 100,000 visits and is also a Level 4 Trauma Center. Banner Estrella maintains NIHSS Stroke Gold Elite Plus, Chest Pain and Pediatric Preparedness accreditation's. The high-functioning multidisciplinary ED team works together cohesively to provide timely and high quality care to our patients. As a Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC) Emergency Department (ED) Behavioral Health Specialist, you will assist with a wide variety of behavioral health related patients. You may cross train on EKG. Ideal candidate will have either Behaviroal Health background and/or education or have experience in the Emergency Department. These are Full Time Day Shift positions (3 12 hour shifts per week).The hours will be from 7AM-7:30PM which will include a set rotation for weekends and holidays. You will have the opportunity to utilize our self-scheduling tool as well as enjoy an additional $1/hour Weekend Shift differential, when applicable.
