About The Position

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be full-time working day 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
2 years of relevant clinical work experience
Basic Life Support required upon start
Vistelar required within 6 Months of hire

Nice To Haves

Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
Prior deescalation training/experience

Responsibilities

Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee.
Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting.
Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
