About The Position

The Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator holds a pivotal role in the organization's Duncan office, reporting directly to the Director of Outpatient Services. This position is responsible for the leadership and management of the outpatient clinical staff. The role encompasses directing all outpatient clinical operations, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures, and overseeing management and administrative functions within the clinical setting. A key aspect is developing and implementing a clinical supervision model that promotes the fidelity of evidence-based practices, ensuring clinical staff receive guidance and support to maintain high standards of care. The coordinator is also tasked with facilitating continuing education opportunities tailored to community and individual clinical needs, and integrating new treatment models aligned with ODMHSAS priorities. Furthermore, the role involves promoting the integration of new treatment approaches, adapting to evolving clinical needs, and aligning them with state and organizational priorities. This position demands strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to empowering clinical staff with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to deliver quality behavioral health services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field
  • Must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision OR Must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
  • Willing to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with position, e.g., attend training, etc.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Participation in on-call rotation unless exempted by the Executive Director
