Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in the beautiful high desert of southeastern Arizona, committed to serve residents in Sierra Vista, Ft. Canyon Vista Medical Center was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital on what was then the eastern edge of Sierra Vista. Growth and advancing technology dictated building our new 177,000 square foot hospital at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015.
How you’ll contribute
The Manager of Intensive Outpatient Services is responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance use issues in the outpatient setting. The Manager assures that high quality clinical care is provided and that clinical functions are integrated. Manager supervises family and group counseling and develops, implements, and supervises a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes. Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post IOP / PHP transition. Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited school of social work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance use issues.
• Current unencumbered Clinical Social Work or Counseling License is required
• Previous experience in outpatient healthcare is required.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is required.
• CPR Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
