Your Goal: The Behavioral Health Director monitors and provides daily oversight of the Behavioral Health Program through coordination and case management activities. The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for the growth, productivity and effectiveness of the behavioral health program and works closely with the Community Outreach Liaison to promote the behavioral health program within the community.

Requirements

  • Master's degree of accredited school of social work or related field.
  • Illinois State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with specialty experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in specialty preferred.
  • Management or supervisor experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Computer and software aptitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily management and oversight of Behavioral Health program operations.
  • Participates in case management activities.
  • Markets and promotes Behavioral Health Program by engaging and facilitating community outreach activities.
  • Ensures ongoing Behavioral Health programmatic success by developing initiatives to increase new referrals, decrease patient no-show rates and improve productivity.
  • Responsible for the full implementation of all The Joint Commission, BPHC, Greater Family Health and other indicated rules, policies, procedures, protocols, and standards as they relate to the provision of Behavioral Health care and other services.
  • Provide all forms of leadership, supervision, direction, training and role modeling to all staff of the Behavioral Health program, including the developing and leading of staff meetings and weekly supervision.
  • Responsible for day-to-day timely and correct submission of all staff paperwork and documentation.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, excellent customer service and team oriented spirit on a daily basis.
  • Be on 24-hour on call for any and all assistance to the program; respond to all calls and requests for assistance in a timely and proper manner according to the policies and procedures of Greater Family Health.
  • Reports to all work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities. Location of work sites may change at the discretion of supervisor.
  • Engages in all offered trainings, consultations and supervisions made available.
  • Fully and professionally responds to and implements directives and advice offered by all supervisory and training personnel, as well as professionally offered feedback from coworkers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
