CMHA is looking to hire a Behavioral Health Counselor OR a Clinician I for our IMPACT program. This position will be located at 233 Main St. New Britain, CT 06051. 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. Flexible work arrangements vary by program. Compensation Range: Behavioral Health Counselor: The salary range for this position starts at $21 per hour. Clinician I: The annual salary range for this position starts at $57,000. Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Position Summary: The Behavioral Health Counselor serves as an active part of a multidisciplinary team that provides outpatient assessment and clinical treatment services to children, adolescents, families and adults who present with a wide range of significant behavioral health needs. Treatment is aimed at assisting individuals and families by helping them develop the skills necessary to improve their quality of life. The Clinician I will provide direct clinical services to individuals in the community; including but not limited to evaluation/assessment; home & community-based services; outreach; case and care management; individual and crisis intervention.
