About The Position

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT Coos Bay, Oregon Join the Integrated Behavioral Health Team at North Bend Medical Center! We’re looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). We provide collaborative interdisciplinary care in a professional and clinical setting. Practice Highlights Full-time; No Call or Weekends! Flexible schedule. We always strive to meet patient and clinic needs; and ensure access to timely behavioral health care. Work with various primary care teams at any of our NBMC clinics using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model of care. Work in conjunction with the Primary Care Provider (PCP) and team to provide brief behavioral and cognitive interventions in a variety of visit types. Typical clinic day: alternating schedule of 30 minutes with follow up appointments; alternating 30-minute warm hand off/same day visits to optimize same day access. Electronic Health Record: EPIC. Requirements

  • Oregon LCSW or LPC licensure required.
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Prior experience (including internships) working in clinical mental health, substance use, or medical settings preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work with and be sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a community health setting is a plus.
