About The Position

Are you a behavioral health provider looking for a change? We have an exciting opportunity to work in family practice medicine. Integrating behavioral health services in a medical setting enhances the overall care of patients, increases access, and reduces stigma. Additionally, integrated behavioral health care increases medical provider knowledge and skill set with recognizing and treating behavioral health conditions. This is a great opportunity for a Behavioral Health Clinician who has interest, training and/or experience integrating behavioral health services into primary or specialty care settings. Livermore Falls Family Practice is a well-established practice that values working collaboratively with behavioral health in their setting. As a behavioral health clinician your role would include, providing screening, assessments, and brief focused treatment to patients of the practice. Treatment structures include in-person individual, family, and group work. Working remotely one day per week is a possibility as well. Here, you would have an opportunity to work with a diverse population of all ages. The work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work, including collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system. Individual supervision, psychiatry consultation, group supervision, and quarterly trainings are added benefits of these positions. The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Requirements

  • Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required
  • Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
  • At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
