About The Position

Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to join our Mental Health team! This position is a licensed and performs their primary duties independently and under general direction of the Mental Health Unit Director. Primary duties include: Providing individual, family, conjoint, group behavioral health therapy services in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Conducting individual assessments, including diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and referrals throughout the service continuum as appropriate. Providing family counseling as assigned. Working cooperatively to provide evidenced based practice and utilize standards developed in conjunction with the Core BOPS Psychiatric team which will include an assigned psychiatrist, mid-level providers, and other therapists.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a behavioral health counselor.
Reference Mandatory Education for Clinical and Support Staff Policy for most current Certification requirements.
Current State of Alaska Master’s Degree license such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT that meets third party reimbursement requirements.
All new employees are required to produce negative drug screen for all illegal substance in the state of Alaska prior to start of employment.
