About The Position
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. Location: Bowling Green Brandywine, Brandywine River Valley, PA Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Every Other Weekend | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Bowling Green Brandywine is a premier Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment Center nestled in the scenic and historic Brandywine River Valley. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months or more working with behavioral health or addiction recovery populations preferred.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training provided upon hire).
- First Aid may be required based on state/facility guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for patients.
- Conduct routine safety checks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and encourage progress toward treatment goals.
- Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups on topics like coping skills, anger management, and independent living.
- Monitor patient behavior and communicate observations to nursing staff.
- Support patient well-being through compassionate interaction and professional care.
- Participate in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
