Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid State Driver's license required for this position.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training provided upon hire).
First Aid may be required based on state/facility guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Six months or more working with behavioral health or addiction recovery populations preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for patients.
Conduct routine safety checks and maintain accurate documentation.
Assist patients with daily living activities and encourage progress toward treatment goals.
Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups on topics like coping skills, anger management, and independent living.
Monitor patient behavior and communicate observations to nursing staff.
Support patient well-being through compassionate interaction and professional care.
Participate in maintaining a secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
