About The Position

Join our team and be a part of something extraordinary as part of our Community Treatment Solutions program. Community Treatment Solutions (CTS) program CTS specializes in working with youth who are at risk for out of community placement. These youth have had multiple failures in other settings or may be ready to be reintegrated into the community from residential programs. Our work with this population is strengths-based and provides multi-disciplinary and multidimensional individualized interventions for youth who present with complex issues. CTS is an expert in implementing state of the art and flexible interventions that involve traditional and nontraditional resources and stakeholders in the youth’s welfare. Create and manage a safe and positive residential treatment environment. Ensure the therapeutic setting is positive, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, aligned with Legacy Treatment Services' values and treatment philosophy. Meet all administrative, legal, and program requirements set by operating contracts and regulatory bodies (e.g., OOL, DCP&P, COA). Oversee and coordinate all aspects of a resident’s clinical treatment, including providing individual, family, and group therapy as part of the treatment plan in collaboration with the treatment team.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, or other closely related field.
  • Possess or be eligible for the appropriate licenses and certifications, e.g. LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, etc.
  • Participate in a minimum of twelve hours of training per year and assist in the training of Legacy Staff.

Responsibilities

  • Complete TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) training.
  • Help develop and implement trauma-specific training and trauma-informed programs, including parent education and staff training.
  • Engage in Quality Improvement (QI) activities, such as surveys, incident reviews, and program evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with staff, medical professionals, and schools to create and update individual treatment plans for youths, including an aftercare program.
  • Serve as the main contact for community resources involved with each youth.
  • Provide individual counseling to each youth weekly.
  • Offer family and group therapy as needed.
  • Lead treatment team meetings and maintain regular family contact.
  • Manage a caseload of 12 cases and provide coverage for co-workers when necessary.
  • Facilitate residential staff involvement in intake and admissions.
  • Complete annual Relias trainings and attend necessary supervision for clinical licensure.
  • Maintain all required clinical documentation and attend clinical meetings.
  • Cooperate with Office of Licensing and any other Department of Children and Families staff in any inspection or investigation.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
