About The Position

This role at ABLE Kids offers individuals studying Psychology or those interested in the field an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The position involves working directly with children aged 2-6 to help them learn, grow, and thrive, while building clinical skills and professional experience valuable for resumes or graduate school applications. The successful candidate will learn from a supportive team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Requirements

• Psychology students, recent graduates, or those interested in the psychology field
• High school diploma or GED
• A heart for kids and a passion for helping others
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to get CPR certified and pass a background check
• RBT certification OR willingness to train and earn it (we cover the cost!)

Responsibilities

• Teach life skills: potty training, self-help, play, social skills, and communication
• Encourage confidence and independence in children
• Support families with positivity and guidance
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress
• Implement ABA therapy under supervision

• Competitive pay starting at $18/hour, with raises every 6 months for the first 2.5 years
• Guaranteed 40-hour workweek (Monday–Friday, 8:25 AM – 4:30 PM, no weekends)
